What We Do
The Community Affairs Committee oversees a variety of charitable activities that benefit the greater Tampa Bay area and beyond. These efforts include:
Monthly 50/50 Charity Raffles: Held at nearly every SUCA membership meeting and event, these raffles split proceeds between a deserving charity and the winning ticket holder—combining fun with meaningful impact.
Annual Holiday Pledge Project: Funded by pledges made at SUCA’s Annual Installation Banquet, this initiative delivers direct support to families in need, local children’s programs, and charitable organizations during the holiday season.
Year-Round Support: The committee identifies and responds to urgent needs throughout the year—whether that means donating supplies, supporting disaster relief, or assisting individuals facing hardship.
Over the past decade alone, SUCA members have donated more than $70,000 to causes that matter—proving that when we come together, we can do more than build strong foundations—we can change lives.
